Children's Program for 2018!

This year's children's program is being provided by In The Gap ministries which was founded by Chad and Alissa Christiansen.

Your children ages 5-12 will love going on exciting, Christ-centered adventures filled with songs, skits, games, and large and small group activities!

At Character Camp kids will discover God's amazing character and how it relates to their life every day. From seeing God's amazing creativity and order to learning how to be personally responsible and showing kindness to those around them, children will learn incredible lessons that will help them be all that God desires them to be! 

Location

The program will be onsite at the Cox Convention Center. Exact location will be announced as we get closer to the convention.

Session Times

Fri, May 4th:
Registration opens at 8:00am and closes at 9:00am. Lunch and late registration is from 12:00pm-1:45pm. Children may begin checking in at 1:15pm for the afternoon sessions. Pickup is at 5:30pm.

Sat, May 5th:
Registration opens at 8:30am and closes at 9:15am. Lunch and late registration is from 12:00pm-1:45pm. Pickup is at 5:30pm.

(Important Note: Please expect a delay if you choose to drop off or pickup your children outside our registration times.)

Lunch:
Our children’s program will close for lunch at 12:00pm and reopen at 1:15pm. Please make arrangements to pick up your children on time. Check in will reopen at 1:15pm – you can bring your children back to the program any time after it reopens.

Dress Code

Please allow your children to wear something that will be comfortable to run, jump, play and sit on the floor in. Comfortable, secure shoes are important.

Attend with a Friend

If friends of your children are attending the conference and you would like your children to be placed in the same group, please go through registration at the same time and mention your request to one of our friendly volunteers. They will be happy to accommodate you if possible.

Pricing

Early Registration (register by April 28)
Weekend Admission (for both days):
$45 for one child, $60 for two children, $90 for three children or $100 max per family*
One Day Admission
:
$35 for one child, $50 for two children, $75 for three children or $100 max per family*

Late Registration (register online or at the door after April 28)
Weekend Admission (for both days):
$55 for one child, $70 for two children, $100 for three children or $130 max per family*
One Day Admission:
$45 for one child, $60 for two children, $85 for three children or $115 max per family*

*Family Cap Pricing Terms and Conditions: In order to include children in the family cap pricing, you must be the legal guardian of the children or the children must currently reside in your home. (Please do not register children under family cap pricing that do not meet the criteria mentioned above. This would include family friends, extended family, etc.)

Refunds and Cancellation: Requests for refunds should be submitted in writing by April 14th, 2018 to disitt@inthegap.org. We are unable to offer refunds after this date, including refunds for children who do not meet our child wellness policy.

Child Wellness Policy

Please do not allow your children to attend if they have any of the following symptoms or conditions. By following these guidelines, you help us maintain a healthy environment for all.

  • Fever (must be fever free without medication for 24 hours).
  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (free of vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 hours).
  • Cold / excessive cough.
  • Any symptoms of childhood diseases, such as scarlet fever, measles, chicken pox, strep throat, flu, etc., or any infectious contagious disease.
  • Chicken-pox (all sores must be completely scabbed over and dry underneath.
  • Heavy nasal discharge (green).
  • Any unexplained rash.
  • Any infections (boils, ringworm, thrush, hand-foot-mouth disease, fifth disease, etc.).
  • Head lice.
  • When in doubt, please apply the golden rule.
