Gary Bloom has spent the past thirteen years pulling a trailer filled with seven tons of great books from one homeschool convention to the next. In between conventions, Gary does remodeling and building projects. He also loves to run and read adventure books about real guys who have done amazing things.
Jan Bloom taught science in a public school before life with children. She began homeschooling the three Blooms in 1982 with a "living books" approach. She has written two reference books about good authors (Who Should We Then Read?) as well as a book about the importance of establishing a home library. Jan is a contributor to several homeschool magazines. She loves to read historical mysteries, modern espionage dramas, and cookbooks.
