Great Plains Bulletin Board
OCHEC functions as a statewide service organization, rather than a support
group. Several annual events focusing on support and encouragement or legislative
awareness are sponsored by OCHEC.
The inclusion of any event listed does not constitute an endorsement by
OCHEC
In an effort to provide resources for home educators, these pages will
allow groups to post
their events. Events and activities from across the state that are appropriate
for homeschool families are welcome. Please submit event information to the OCHEC office.

GREAT PLAINS PROM
Great Plains Christian Home Educators hosted a Junior/Senior Prom Night with the theme
"Are the Stars Out Tonight" on May 28th at the Church of the Nazarene in Hydro,
OK. 28 students and chaperones attended including two special attendees, Jessica Nicolai
and Phillip Kitchen. These two students were participants in the "Stuck At Prom"
contest sponsored by DuckTape.com. They had to make their outfits completely out of Duck
Tape and did a great job. Even though it was a lot of work, it was also a lot of fun and a
nice break from writing your normal essays for scholarships.
GPCHE COOP CLASSES

levels: K-4th, 5th -7th; and 8th - 12th grade. If you are interested in participating, or
just taking a look at who we are and what we do, please visit our website at www.gpche.homestead.com
