Support Groups

There are many autonomous homeschool support groups across Oklahoma offering a variety of opportunities according to the needs of their particular members. OCHEC highly recommends that homeschooling families join a local support group.

OCHEC AFFILIATED SUPPORT GROUPS

The OCHEC Board of Trustees, comprised of volunteer homeschooling couples, value the partnership and communication shared with the affiliated groups.  For a support group to become affiliated with OCHEC, its leadership must agree with OCHEC's statement of faith. There is no requirement for group members, other than what each group chooses to require. While there is no charge for affiliation, groups receive the following benefits:

• representation on the OCHEC Advisory Board which meets annually at the OCHEC  Leader's Retreat in July;

• discounts for leader's seminars and retreats;

• access to educational video and audio resource library; and

• complimentary OCHEC Oklahoma Home Educators’ Handbook and DVD

Homeschool support group leaders may contact staff@ochec.com to receive an information packet (snail mail or email) with further information about group affiliation with OCHEC. Please specify that you need group affiliation information.
