Advertising

We appreciate your interest in advertising in the Informer. Listed below are the ad specifications and prices.

Advertising Policy

The OCHEC Informer exists solely to advance homeschooling and to further the educational goals of homeschooling families by providing encouragement, support, and resources. We gladly accept advertisements that support these goals. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement not in keeping with our goals, without explanation. Advertising in the OCHEC Informer in no way expresses or implies endorsements, educational or spiritual, of products.


OCHEC Informer Advertising Rates

The OCHEC Informer is mailed quarterly to over 3000 families.

Display Ads

Full Color
Outside Back Cover, four-color, $450 8"W x 8"H (.125" bleed sides and bottom)
Inside Back or Front Cover, four-color, $400 8.5"W x 11"H (.125" bleed)
Black and White
Full Page, $300 7.5"W x 10"H
Half Page, $160 7.5"W x 4.875"H
One-third Page, $110 Square - 4.5"W x 4.875"H; Vertical = 2.125"W x 10"H
One-sixth Page, $60 2.125"W x 4.875"H
One-twelfth Page, $40 2.125"W x 2.312"H

Acceptable Formats-Ads must be sent in the following formats. If ads are not in the following formats OCHEC cannot guarantee placement in the Informer.

Digital Formats:
Mac or PC - PDF or JPG
Resolution: 300 dpi photos, 600 dpi text
Mac - QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (include fonts & support files)
Media - Email, or mail on CD-ROM, 100MB or 250MB Zip disk

Classified Ads:

Questions should be addressed to classifiedads@ochec.com.

The last page of the center section of the Informer magazine will feature activity and classified ads. Business classifieds will also be listed on this page as room allows. (Note: It is not our policy to accept "wanted" or "for sale" ads.) To announce any event, class, or activity that charges $10 or more PER PERSON, you must purchase a bulletin board ad. All bulletin board ads will also be posted once in the OCHEC Update e-newsletter.

Classified ads will be run in a special section in the Bulletin Board section of the Informer. Rates are:
