A generous donation has been made to encourage families who are considering homeschooling and where neither parent has attended a prior OCHEC convention to attend this year's convention. If you know of such families, please let them know how affordable and helpful the convention can be!

 

$80 if ordered at the OCHEC Media Booth or online after the convention

       All MP3 set will be mailed out 1 to 2 weeks after the convention.

 

       School age children are admitted free with Shopping Pass. 
       The pass is good for one day only and does not include admission to the Workshops.  

WORKING SCHOLARSHIPS

The convention could not happen without the hundreds of homeschool parents and teens who volunteer each year. We traditionally thank our volunteers by giving them the option of receiving workshop CDs or T-Shirts. This year, we are also offering Working Scholarships for either individual adults or the whole family.  If you are willing to work at least 2 hours (individual) or 4 hours (family) you have the option of attending the convention at no charge.  To register for a Working Scholarship, please proceed to registration (at the bottom of this page) and choose either the "Working Scholarship - Individual" or the "Working Scholarship - Family" registration type and enter the name of the person who will be working. If you are choosing the Family version, be sure you also register the other adults who will be attending (e.g. Free Spouse, Free Grand Parent, etc.). Note: Those choosing Working Scholarships do not earn CDs or T-Shirts for hours served beyond the requirement. You will also need to choose a volunteer assignment in the volunteer system. While you initially get to choose your own assignment from those available, we reserve the option to shift you to another assignment should the need arise. There are limited number of Working Scholarships and all Working Scholarships must register for the Convention by April 5th.
